Fangst Færøsk Laks No.1 Faroe Islands Salmon

Fangst's No. 1 starts with Atlantic salmon raised in the cold waters around the Faroe Islands. Before canning, the salmon is flash grilled, giving the exterior some roasted character while leaving the fish inside rich and tender.

It's then flash-grilled and packed simply in cold-pressed rapeseed oil with salt. The grilling distinguishes this from both conventionally cooked tinned salmon and Fangst's smoked No. 3. You get some of the flavor of fish cooked over high heat without turning the tin into a smoked product.

Serve with boiled potatoes, dill, and a spoonful of the oil from the tin.
