ABC+ Codfish "Caldeirada" Sauce

Caldeirada is a Portuguese fish stew built around seafood, tomato, onion, garlic, and olive oil. Like a lot of traditional dishes, there isn't one definitive recipe - the fish and exact preparation change depending on where you are and what's available.

ABC+ takes that idea and puts it into a tin with Atlantic cod. The fish is packed in a tomato-based sauce with onion, garlic, and olive oil, giving the cod more of the character of a finished dish than a simple oil-packed conserva. The cod stays flaky while the tomato and onion make the sauce substantial enough that you don't want to leave any of it behind.

Warm the tin and spoon everything over boiled potatoes or rice.
