Açôr Sardines with Lemon, Rosemary & Black Pepper in Olive Oil

Açôr produces its conservas on São Miguel in the Azores, an island chain in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with a long fishing tradition and access to cold, nutrient-rich waters.

In this preparation, sardines are packed in olive oil with lemon, rosemary, and black pepper. The seasoning complements the fish without overwhelming it.

Serve with plain potato chips and a chilled glass of albariño, or use it as a base for pasta sauces.
