Nuri Sardines in Olive Oil

Sardines packed in olive oil. A benchmark tin that belongs in a lot of pantries.

Nuri has a little more backbone than softer sardine tins: firm fish, fuller flavor, and enough salt to keep reaching for another bite.

The olive oil takes on plenty of flavor from the sardines as the tin rests. Don’t leave it behind.

Very good with grilled bread and tomato. Also works with sharp mustard, pickled vegetables, or fried eggs.
